Current Event-GM offers buyout
GM has posted a better fourth quarter financial result than expected but they are still offering buyouts to 74,000 employees (its entire U.S. hourly workforce). GM has said that they will offer buyout packages up to worth 140,000 to all of its workers represented by the UAW.

I think that it is a good idea. It may help the market for American made cars

I think that it's a pretty good idea, but it's hard for people that have been working there for a long time and they're losing their jobs.
Thats good my mom will be higher Seniority(sp) then. Get the older ones outta there.
